At Shalom, we understand that recovery is not a destination; it’s a lifelong journey. Our transitional housing honors that need, providing you with the supportive environment, accountability, and resources you need as you complete a residential program and move forward into the future that awaits.
How Does It Work?
Here's what life is like in a Shalom transitional house.
Accountability
Through a structured environment, random drug screens, and curfew, you’ll have the accountability to avoid distractions and stay sober.
Employment
You’ll find and maintain active employment, helping you cover the cost of your housing and save for your future. We even provide transportation to and from your job.
Community
Friends are one of your greatest allies in recovery. You’ll gain support from your housemates as you navigate the challenges and joys of recovery together.
Resources
Keep learning! Weekly attendance at one church service and two recovery groups strengthens your recovery through life skills and resources.
